Prerequisites:
Attend class on time and do not miss a single class. Missing or being tardy to any class, without a proper excuse, disqualifies you from this guarantee.
A proper excuse consists of: a doctor's note, funeral card, police report, late-to-work slips from public transportation, or other similar notice is required for extenuating circumstances.
Pass all tests. While failing tests isn’t penalized, not showing up for makeup tests scheduled with the instructor is.
Make a good faith effort to complete the school.
Abide by the Institute’s Policies outlined in the Course Catalog or written out here.
Abide by the job placement agreement located here.
Rough Timeline
Within 72 hours of graduating email our job placement coordinator.
Begin writing your resume. We will give you a guide to writing a bartending resume upon completion.
Write your resume and send it to your job placement coordinator.
Within the first month of graduating, attend a free job placement seminar.
After attending the job placement seminar, apply for 20 jobs a week. Please note that upon completing the job placement seminar, you are expected to apply to 20 jobs a week. Proper format for the instructions will be emailed to you. Upload the sheet as either a .csv, .xls, or .xlsx file format to your Job Placement Leader on the Slack Channel with the places you applied to. If this option is unavailable, please let us know and we will work with you.
If after a month of doing this, you are not getting a response, a job placement coordinator should reach out to you. If this doesn’t happen please contact the school. It is your responsibility to contact an administrator of the school within 3 months if you are unable to get a job. You may do this via Slack. Administrators will have the “Admin” handle.
